Subscriptions & Billing

Everything you need to know about plans, credits, and refunds.

Understanding Your Credits

Video2Infographic uses two independent credit pools that work together but behave differently.

Subscription Credits

  • Granted automatically at the start of every billing cycle
  • Always consumed first — before any top-up credits
  • Reset on each renewal; unused credits do not roll over
  • Expire permanently when your subscription ends or is cancelled

Top-up Credits

  • Purchased as a one-time transaction — no recurring charge
  • Non-transferable generation allowances with no cash value
  • Consumed only after subscription credits run out
  • Unaffected by plan upgrades, downgrades, or cancellations

Your total credit balance (subscription + top-up) is always visible on your Profile.

Subscribing to a Plan

  • Visit the Pricing page and choose a plan — Basic, Pro, or Studio.
  • Select monthly or annual billing. Annual billing offers a 20% discount and the full annual amount is billed upfront.
  • Complete checkout via Paddle. Your subscription activates immediately after payment is confirmed.
  • Your monthly credit allocation is added to your account instantly and resets at each renewal date.

Upgrading Your Plan

  • From your Profile, click Upgrade or change plan to go to Pricing.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately upon confirmation — not at the next billing cycle.
  • A prorated charge for the price difference between your current and new plan is processed via Paddle.
  • Your subscription credit allocation updates to the new plan's monthly limit after payment is confirmed.
  • Your billing renewal date does not change — the upgrade takes effect within the current cycle.
  • Top-up credits are not affected by upgrades in any way.
Upgrading mid-cycle does not reset your billing date. Your next renewal stays on the same calendar date.

Downgrading Your Plan

  • From your Profile, click Upgrade or change plan to go to Pricing.
  • Downgrades are scheduled — they take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, not immediately.
  • You keep your current plan's credit allocation and full platform access until the billing period ends.
  • At the next renewal, your credit allocation updates to the lower plan's monthly limit.
  • Top-up credits are not affected by downgrades.
No prorated refund is issued for downgrades. You continue to benefit from the higher plan until the current period ends.

Cancelling Your Subscription

  • From your Profile, click Cancel Subscription and confirm in the modal.
  • Cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current billing period — access is not cut off immediately.
  • You retain full platform access and all remaining subscription credits until the period end date.
  • When the period ends, subscription credits expire and are permanently forfeited — they cannot be recovered.
  • Top-up credits are not affected — they remain on your account indefinitely regardless of subscription status.
  • To reverse the cancellation before the period ends, click Reactivate in portal from your Profile.
Your account is not deleted on cancellation. You can re-subscribe at any time to receive a fresh monthly credit allocation.

Top-up Credits

  • Available on the Pricing page and directly from your Profile under Credits.
  • Purchased as a one-time transaction — no subscription required.
  • Credits are added to your account immediately after Paddle confirms the payment.
  • Top-up credits are non-transferable generation allowances with no cash value.
  • They are consumed only after your subscription credits are exhausted each cycle.
  • Completely unaffected by plan upgrades, downgrades, or cancellations.

Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on what you purchased. The rules differ between monthly subscriptions, annual subscriptions, and top-up credit packs. Read the section that applies to your purchase.

Monthly Subscriptions

Each monthly charge is an independent billing event. The refund window resets on every renewal.

  • The charge was made within the last 14 days (applies to the most recent renewal only; prior months are not refundable).
  • Fewer than 20%of that billing cycle's subscription credit allocation has been consumed.
  • Charges from previous billing cycles are not eligible, regardless of remaining credits.
  • Cancelling your subscription does not trigger a refund for the current period; you retain access until the period ends.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual plans are billed as a single upfront charge for 12 months. Because of the discounted rate, a stricter refund window applies.

  • Your annual purchase was made within the last 14 days and fewer than 20%of your first month's credit allocation has been used.
  • After 14 days, the annual charge is non-refundable; no prorated refund is issued for unused months remaining in the year.
  • Cancelling an annual subscription mid-year stops the next annual renewal but does not refund any portion of the current year.
If you cancel an annual plan, you keep access and credits for the full remaining year.

Top-up Credit Packs

Top-up credits are one-time, non-transferable generation allowances with no cash value.

  • Purchased within the last 14 days and fewer than 20% of the credits in that specific pack have been consumed.
  • Packs purchased more than 14 days ago are not eligible regardless of unused balance.
  • Partial refunds for the unused portion of a pack are not issued.

Never Eligible Across All Purchase Types

  • Accounts suspended or terminated due to Terms of Service violations or fraudulent activity.
  • Credits automatically returned to your balance after a failed generation; these are not a billing issue and require no refund request.
  • Upgrade proration charges; the prorated amount charged when upgrading mid-cycle is not refundable.
